How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Everydayguy Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can contact us about:

  • How your call or contact with Everydayguy Pest Control went
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, products, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.

Please tell us as well. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of what we expect may be removed. Keep in mind that Everydayguy Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

If your concern is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency that oversees pest control in New York.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@everydayguy.property and include:

  • Your name and the way you prefer to be reached
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Next, we look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. Then we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
